Technical Architect
Role Technical Architect:
In the context of the development of IT Applications, you are within the BT department responsible for guiding the development teams in building suitable application architecture based on the enterprise architecture and other guidelines.
Therefore you ensure the following responsibilities:
•Make impact analysis together with application and data architects.
•Collaborate with all our development teams (international and on different domains) in building an adequate architecture for projects, keeping the business objectives and the long term vision in balance.
•Help us define reference architecture and refine the technical deliverables in our already defined agile "Analysis & Design" methodology and tools.
•Make sure that all technical architectures from the different teams add up to a consistent technical landscape.
•Guard the responsibilities of the different components in the application landscape
•Contribute to the consistency between business, functional and technical layers.
•Coach the tech leads and developers to apply the reference architecture and the methodology.
Profile Technical Architect :
•You possess a Master degree in IT software development
•You possess very strong communication skills and good change management skills.
•You can fluently express yourself in Dutch, English and French, both orally and written.
•You're able to get a helicopter view and make accurate estimations.
•You are a team player, you are interested in the clients' needs and eager to provide good solutions.
•Can provide technical leadership
•Knows widely used concepts like Federated Authentication, object oriented design, SOA, Service Bus, Logging, Monitoring & Alerting, ORM, design patterns, application integration patterns,…
•Hands-on experience in developing applications
•At least 5 years of experience in development
Nice to have:
•Profound knowledge of C#
•Experience with the tool "Sparx Enterprise architect"
•Knowledge of SiteCore
