Technical Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contributes to a team that will fulfil environment architect and other requests
- Provides end-to-end test support
- Assists with required production deployment
- Works with enterprise-wide applications and personnel as well as other team members in a challenging, fast-paced atmosphere to establish and maintain high availability of pre production environments.
- Act as a member of a team responsible for team deliverables and meeting specified milestones.
- Builds environments to specifications, sets up and modifies configurations, Application Server administration, installs kits, performs advanced troubleshooting and provides root cause analysis
- Monitors Server processes, Server component availability, and writes Shell Scripts and SQL queries
- Follows, maintains, documents, and helps establish standard processes to ensure repeatability
- Works as needed to meet software release deadlines
- Acts as the single point of contact in application environment support for all stakeholders
- Performs problem solving, troubleshooting, and identifies root cause

SKILLS

The following technical skills are required: Unix - all flavors, Apache, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, and Weblogic/WebSphere/BusinessWorks. Certification is a plus. Must have advanced level experience on Architecture, Server build, Kit install, Work Request and Troubleshooting on Middleware systems. Demonstrated ability and commitment to work both as an individual and as a member of a team to support team mates and customers required. Strong analytical and thinking skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Strong technical writing skills also needed.
