Technical Architect

Seeking a Professional Technical Architect responsible for architecting application designs and developing Java EE software solutions, using various Business Process Management(BPM) tools. MUST HAVE ActiveVOS BPM Tool experience. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Java EE technical professional that contributes through proven technical expertise and has significant department/functional impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Move scope to an Agile SDLC methodology with new program logic that will allow applications to set and manage application specific target value at both the application level and vtier/server level. Includes new screens to manage configuration values, current values are populated manually in a database by the development team; this is truly new functionality to allow management of this configuration by users instead of through code/DB change. It is also is changing the data model so that the relationship of these desired target values is captured at a further level of detail (vtier/server) instead of just app.
- Automate the data value input for the Innovation Delivery Platform (IDP) for historical data collection, trending analysis and establishment of Best Practices with architectural design and alarming responses.
- Translating business needs into technical solutions, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.
- Analyze and design software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs
- Use programming language and technology, writes code, complete programming and documentation, performs testing and debugging of applications.
- Interacts with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Develops new concepts/methods/techniques.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert within own discipline/specialty area.
- Applies specialized knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards and work processes.
- Integrates company experience and deep technical knowledge.
- Solves non-routine problems based on analysis of multiple factors.
- Independently identifies key issues, patterns or deviations from norm.
- Works on problems requiring judgment and in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Analyzes/interprets research to evaluate and recommend solutions.

SKILLS

MUST HAVE ActiveVOS BPM Tool experience. Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math or equivalent experience. Typically requires 3-5 years experience. Expertise in Java and related tech and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) required. Must have intermediate skills in Java Server Pages (JSP) and Hibernate.
