Technical Applications Manager 50-58 Euros PER HOUR

My client is based in the Eindhoven, Netherlands. We are looking for an Technical Applications Manager to start ASAP for an initial 12 Month rolling contract

You will have skills and experience that match the following:

Technical:

SQL

Sharepoint

JBoss

VMWare, Cisco, HP, Storage

Data Centre knowledge and migration experience

Duties:

Drafts and reviews high level technical design documents. Owns the high level design of the infrastructure hosting the application

Works closely with infrastructure and application service providers on designs of new capabilities that adhere to technology and system architectural guidelines

Plans and coordinate patching, stabilizing the Infrastructure involving ESPs/ISPs (External and Internal Service Providers)

Takes the lead in proposing and executing solutions for structural problems in the application portfolio related to performance and application installation

Analyses the current technical application layer setup to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement

Creates a high-level strategy and design view of the set of products and technologies in the infrastructure portfolio

Promotes standardization and re-use of technical application solutions

Ensures smart integration of application frameworks with the application Servers

Helps to align and facilitate technical strategy with business objectives

Identifies opportunities to modify or update the technical architecture optimizing trade-offs between life-cycles of individual applications and infrastructure components

Responsible for Creation of Change Routing and Firewall forwarding (CRF)

To be involved in Project Intake and Infra Change review board meetings

Reviews changes in the current Catalog offerings and take it up with Infra Coordinator for final approval

Knowledge on different types of Physical Server, Network (Firewall), Storage devices

Capacity Management Planning and Implementation
