The Role
*Consulting on Geoscience and Engineering applications and workflows
*Advising and promoting effective workflows and best practices to users
*Developing workflows to facilitate Geoscience work processes and foster technology uptake
*Resolving and/or coordinating the resolution of Geoscience application issues and enhancements with appropriate internal organizations or vendors
*Providing Geoscience expertise and workflow knowledge to the IT organization to assist in understanding business needs, specifications, priorities, strategies and technical issues
*Technical consulting on subsurface data
*Advise and consult with Geoscience community and Data Management organization with regards to data, databases, data flows, data tools and data management best practices
*Geoscience application training development and delivery
*Developing and delivering formal and informal technical training for the Geoscience community
*Geoscience technical application set evaluation and implementation
*Participating in the identification and evaluation of new Geoscience technology
*Participating in the implementation of new/upgraded Geoscience technology
