Looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer for a long term assignment based in Amsterdam. You will work for an international banking client. We are looking for someone who can do support on Mainframe.
Your responsibilities on support are:
- Solving incidents with limited timeframes and under pressure
- Troubleshooting (Mainframe Applications)
- Troubleshooting Cobol programming
- Troubleshooting JCL programming
- Deliver support during testing (incident solving)
- Deployments to a production site
- Creating/updating maintenance documentation
SKILLS
- Proven Mainframe skills and experience in a complex environment
Networking TCP/IP - IBM DB2 RDBMS (Z/Os)/IBM DB2 Connect
- IBM IMS RDBMS (Z/Os)
- IBM Fault Analyser, TWS (Tivoli Workload scheduler), MainView, etc.
- PRISMA (Peregrine Service Centre)
- ITIL concepts
- To be able to work under the pressure and tight schedules
- Agile/Scum Experience
