Technical Application Manager-Dutch/Englsh Speaking-Amsterdam

This team is responsible for application management of approximately 160 small and large applications from the various divisions UWV, whether or not linked and/or interdependent. This management includes. management activities, including reporting on daily availability environments, document changes, Tuning & Troubleshooting, incidents, changes and problems processing. Additionally, the candidate also participates in releases and projects. The emphasis is on management and release operations.

Skills

At least 2 years of proven work experience and/or certified in one or more parts. Middleware

Microsoft Biztalk 2010/2012 - IBM WebSphere MQ - IBM Info Messaging 4 & 5 - IBM WebSphere Application Server 6 and up - Oracle WebLogic 11 and/or higher - MS IIS Server/Apache Tomcat/IBM HTTP -/Oracle HTTP Server

DBM - Microsoft SQL Server - Oracle RDBMS 9 and up

Operating Systems - Wintel/Linux/AIX

Soft skills - Pro-active attitude & behavior - The drive to want to innovate - Communication skills in writing and speaking in both Dutch and English.

Experience

Setting up and managing automated environments, according to agreed service levels, so that continuity and availability is optimally ensured.

Ensures optimal management and availability, particularly aimed at the tactical level applications. The emphasis is on technical application at executive level

Is able to evaluate a given technical infrastructure capacity and suitability for running an application. Installs and configures no generic layered software such as Oracle, Apache Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server, etc. on the basis of standards and installation manuals.

Installs and configures custom software application.

Is responsible for the commissioning of services such as application monitoring and database backup.

Coordinates the deployment of patches and modifications.

Attend multidisciplinary meetings between fellow suppliers, customers and IBM internal suppliers.

Have proven experience of application at a similar big customer like UWV, so large numbers of users, and national distribution of offices and departments.

Regulates transfer of the application after it is arranged on a tactical level, to the management organization.

Performs independently the coordination, co-operation and consultation with the customer and other interested parties, the proposed deployment of patches and risky changes that can affect the performance and availability of the application.

Allows operation manuals and technical documentation, and/or is able to review this content.

Carries out technical analyzes and solves complex faults regarding the availability of the application.

Does the technical capabilities against the other processes within the organization

Does the responsibility of the project manager in charge of engineering projects in accordance with the conventional methods.
