TECHNICAL APPLICATION MANAGER

For one of our leading tech clients we urgently require a Dutch speaking Technical Application Manager.

SKILLS
- Knowledge of Linux and Oracle RDBMS is a plus;
- Knowledge of Microsoft IIS is an advantage;
- Experience with ITIL tool, such Topdesk or similar products;
- Work can perform independently and in a team;
- Have proven experience in the field of management
-FLUENT DUTCH LANGUAGE SKILLS.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Dutch speaking Technical Application Manager you will be involved with the following;

The INDiGO information includes products for case management, systems integration, document management, search, correspondence, biometrics and data warehousing. It uses both market products and customization. Manageability, security, life cycle management, backup/restore, etc. are parts that are fully integrated into the management process. The management department is responsible for the continuity and stability of the system.

datawarehouse Metis

In 2015 our customer started using a new data warehouse Metis. Metis is used for management reporting and is a business-critical application. The technical infrastructure and application specific components have been taken into administration by IV administration. IV Operational Management provides technical application. The executive team consists currently of 2.5 FTE. This team ensures the availability and manageability of Metis is completed. The management of Metis done in consultation with BIC, with IV Administration handles the technical application, and BIC performs the development and functional application. At this moment there is a project for the technical management to a higher level and there is a need to expand the team. To hire job profiles

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for the continuous operation of the DWH environment. Following the change process (DTAP), release process, problem management and incident process DWH team
- It is expected that you are available for schedulable standby services organized on a rotational basis on working hours
- Carry out application availability services & is willing to work from several other locations in the Netherlands.
- Works closely with the development team and database with regard to the delivery of new releases, performance tuning, availability.
- Examine and produces technical documentation of architecture, applications and systems, in accordance with required quality standards.
- Performs impact analysis and perform application monitoring and auditing of the assigned applications on application usage and availability-existing, capacity and performance levels.
- Participates in projects and related consultation, both internally and externally.
- Provides periodic reports, in line and in projects HINTS complete performance of the assigned applications.
- Recommends and implements advice HINTS new versions et desired or necessary adjustments Attn software products and infrastructure components.
- Displays realistic, informed and responsible estimates attn off work to be done.
- Lost system failures and problems in collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Performs necessary tests in various DTAP environments.
- Ensures adequate and relevant information exchange with colleagues.

LOCATION: South Holland/West Netherlands

CONTRACT: 3 months + Likely extension

RATES: Negotiable
