Technical Application Java Architect
Our client is a well known brand in Belgium, and is currently looking for a Architect to define best Practices for Java development and technical strategy.
You are an expert in the technology domain Java/JEE and have the following skills and knowledge -
* Internet/Web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML, ...)
* You have experience with the development of web services (SOAP/REST) or message-based interactions (JMS).
* You are familiar with various integration-related components (Web/Application Servers, MoM, EAI, B2B, ESB, ...).
Duties & Responsibilities
You take the following responsibilities:
* Defining the Java/jee standards and guidelines (in terms of user interface, database access, integration, etc.).
* Completing the development and further implementation of the development frameworks and tools
* Support to give the development community.
* Define the "as-is" and "to-be" of different applications in your domain
* Designing or reviewing high-level project designs.
* Initiate or lead various improvement projects (application monitoring, automated build & deployment, service-oriented architecture, portal strategy, etc.)
Training
* You hold a university degree in computer science (or have equivalent experience).
Experience and technical skills
* You have at least 8 years experience in various software development projects (from analysis to design and implementation).
* You are an experienced IT architect with a good knowledge of development best Practices (design patterns).
* You are very adept at designing project designs at different levels.
Knowledge of languages
* You can express yourself in Dutch, French and English.
