Technical Applicatiion Controller/Specialist - Sharepoint 2012

The selected contractor will be responsible for the continued running of the current system, increase the availability of the SharePoint system infrastructure, and the current applications.  Prepare optimisation of the platform, implementation/deployment of new releases, solve incidents and problems during the Lifecycle  management of SharePoint.

Responsibilities:

3 line Support. Implementation of changes. Solving incidents & problems.Control deployment scripts, and correct where necessary.  Plus, far more....!

Function requirements:

Work within Projects (Prince 2), Knowledge of control processes (ITIL, ASL), Extensive and demonstratable (technical) knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and standard applications thereon. Multi farm/Multi domain. Certification experience (between system & HTTPS). PowerShell Scripting. MS-Active Directory. SQL. Windows Server 2008. Knowledge of DNS, SMTP, IIS. System Centre Operations Manager (optional). Microsoft Data Protection Manager (optional). Microsoft RAP procedures. Knowledge of infrastructures (connectivity and differing VLANS, etc.).

Note: Deployments to Production takeplace outside of office hours. Thus, candidate is expected to participate within an availability rota.
