Technical Analyst - Rome

A leading global IT Consultancy is recruiting for a Technical Analyst to join the organisation in Rome, Italy.

As a Technical Analyst you will be working the organisation on a 3 month rolling contract, paying the daily rate of €400/450 per day.

Work description:

In the context of the Capex program of work, in coordination with the technical team leader and under the supervision of the Contractor's coordinator, the contractor will have the following assignment:

* Participate to the technical analysis, design and development of modifications/enhancements related to the Oracle E- Business Suite version 12 and in particular in the area of the Oracle Subledger Accounting
Engine (SLA)
* perform technical analysis and assist in the timely resolution of functional issues;
* write technical specifications (MD020, MD070) ) using AIM standards;
* develop interfaces between Legacy systems and the Oracle General Ledger and the various Oracle subledgers (ie Purchasing and Accounts Payables) using the Open Interface standards and Oracle APIs
* Compile and execute technical test plans when required;
* perform initial technical testing and verification of each functional issue before the delivery to the responsible technical team leader;
* Ensure that all related tasks in Team Track and Version Manager are updated according to the established procedures;
*document all the various installation tasks (MD120) using AIM standards;
* inform the technical team leader of any issues that may arise related to assigned tasks and provide regular feedback on progress;

1) Technical documentation (MD070) delivered as per agreed plan
2) Installation documentation (MD120) delivered as per agreed plan
3) Technical artifacts delivered and installed in test environment as per agreed plan
4) Provision of regular status reports to team leader on progress of work
