We are looking for a flexible, technical person, to work in a busy department on various strategic projects and BAU initiatives in the FX Applications team.You will have an interest in all aspects of the technical areas, but will specialise in one.Pre trade output MXML Exchange work flows design and implantation.
Data Mart
- Someone who can read programs and fault find, but not necessarily program
- Someone who can when required, interact with the traders and transform their requirements into technical specs.
- 12+ years post collegiate work experience in the financial industry
- Profound technical & business knowledge of the trading product platforms
- Strong understanding of FX cash and FX option trading and its life cycles
- Development methodologies, technologies (language, databases, support tools)
- Front to Back FX banking processes with an emphasis on FX trading and Middle Office
- Windows NT/UNIX/SQL/JAVA development experience
The role for the FX Risk Management systems targets system improvements and tactical deliveries within BAU phase (Q3/2016-2017) and the general configuration of the FX-platform as well as enhanced technical support role in the FX sector. Expectation is to further develop and enhance the FX asset class platform. Profound knowledge on Vendor systems and exchange technologies are essential prerequisites and a good expertise on Murex.3 would be beneficial. Basically the position requires a high degree of technical and business knowledge about financial products with focus on exchange technology.
The role encompasses the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Support & assist FX applications from technical analysis side
- When required - not a daily occurrence - capture, specify and document business requirements of consolidation phase of FX-platform (configuration and customized system adjustments).
- Configuration and Scripting around FX platform offerings
- Responsible for all aspects of development, support and troubleshooting for internally created and externally supported software Experience on Unix (Solaris), command, SQL, XML languages
- MXML Exchange workflows design and implementation
- Represent and accompany end-users during UAT, implementation.
- Review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures
- Test configured functionality/new features on FXplatform.
- Analysing & solving business errors on FX-platforms.
- Supervise IT ensuring all business critical features are available and properly running.
- To organize UAT's and to achieve successful UAT signoffs.
- To overview functional testing for new FX-platform releases.
- Act as point of contact for FX business users for ongoing requirements
