Technical Analyst (Reference Data Management)

Technical Analyst needed for several projects, large and small within the Client Data Confidentiality CDC program of an investment bank in Zurich. The post-holder should be comfortable with high levels of support, the project will become more complex once they move to using new architectures.

Environment/Project description:
Group Data: FXMM Gateway
Several large projects including Regulatory (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FATCA) and CDC (client data confidentiality), and several smaller areas of work.

Task & Responsibilities:
Act as technical analyst for the DMG CDC program.
Produce infrastructure and program specifications to support the key projects within Pillar 4 of the above program, notably the migration of confirmation instructions and SSI mastering functionality.
Work with upstream and downstream connected applications to resolve connectivity issues.
Analyse, verify and oversee the movement of application infrastructure into a highly secure environment.

Required Experience/Skills:
Architecture
Solid Java and MQ, SQL
SCRUM experience
Knowledge of Oracle, WebSphere and Linux
Experience of reference data management applications, large data volumes, data design, user interaction and data/business rules (data protection).
Ability to work in a disciplined and structured manner in a high pressure environment..
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong English.

Highly advantageous:
Banking experience, ideally within the FX, reference data and settlement domain.

Nice to have:
conversational German, familiarity with RUP/EUP.

Must have EU passport/Swiss permit.
