Technical Analyst - Incident Management & Production Support (TA, Mainframe, SQL, XML, Cobol, MVS)
Responsibilities
- Production Support concerning the applications for which the team is responsible. Solving incidents on production. Analysing root cause of Incidents. In Urgent cases implementing software solutions (analysis, build, testing, install).
- Treatment of User Requests and On Demand Work asked by Business and other IT departments.
- Administrative follow up (logging, reporting, communication) of the work
- Preparation of installation scenario's (run book) and deployment of New Releases in the QA and the Production environment.
- Being part of the 24/7 On Call system
- This function requires a lot of contact with other teams
Required Skills
- Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
- Team player
- Capable of dealing with stress situations
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude,
- Good Communication and Influencing skills.
- Good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
- Flexible, accurate & control minded.
Required Experience:
At least 5 years of experience as Technical Analyst in a Mainframe Environment.
Mandatory experience
- Mainframe System (MVS)
- Knowledge CTRL/M and JCL
- DB2 and SQL
- Cobol Programming
- Microsoft Office
- XML
Preferable:
- Knowledge of Payment Systems and SEPA.
- APS/MFEEE
- Microsoft VISIO
- Microsoft SharePoint
- CMMI2 knowledge
- Unix (RS/6000)
