3rd Line Technical Analyst/Developer

A brilliant opportunity has recently arisen in the Antwerp area of Belgium for a 3rd Line Technical Analyst/Developer to join an ambitious European retail company. The successful candidate will reinforce the dynamic Support Team by providing support to the POS system and all interfaces to/from the core ERP system.

Outline of the role:

- Reinforce the support team to deliver day-to-day 1st line support assistance to our owned and operated retail stores
- As your knowledge of the system improves, provide 2nd and 3rd line support services including troubleshooting and development of proprietary tools and packages - .NET and SQL Integration Services
- 3rd Line:
- Deeper levels of support for the POS applications and supporting interfaces
- Root cause analysis of issues affecting store systems
- Working on site at the stores

The successful candidate will have:

- Bachelor Degree in IT is a strong advantage
- Min. 2 years of experience in an IT support environment, ideally for a retailer
- Experience with Cash Register Systems
- Microsoft SQL server, Transact SQL
- TCP/IP Networking
- Basic .NET programming skills.
- Basic, applicable knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting Services
- Fluent English and French (or Dutch) speaker, able to pass on knowledge to people that do not always have IT skills
