Technical Analyst Consultant - Belgium

Role - Technical Analyst Consultant
Location - Brussels, Belgium
Duration - 6 months + extensions

Responsibilities

- Monitor/control activities and results throughout the IT life cycle: business modelling, specifications, technical design, development, testing, acceptance, deployment, documentation, maintenance, operations
- Attending and supporting testing activities;
- Technical review of documents;
- Perform on site verification missions
- Being involved in studies and consulting in specific technical domains
- Understand business and technical needs, solicit product and enhancement requirements from end users
- Generate documentation for technical proposals, estimates, general design of system test strategies and support procedures
- Support and actively contribute to the incident-, problem-, change-, risk-, configuration- and release management processes
- Apply your technical knowledge in a quality control, verification, coordination and consulting role.

Essential Skills

- Having a bachelor or master degree
- Having experience in one or several aspects in the IT Software Development Lifecycle: business analysis, functional analysis, technical design, IT architecture, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, documentation, infrastructure, service desk, operations
- Having knowledge about ITIL processes: incident -, change management, CSIP
- Knowledgeable of one or several best practice frameworks or standards: ITIL, BPM, SOA, Agile, Security, TOGAF (or other EA models), IFPUG (function point), software quality
- A good communicator in English as well as in Dutch and/or French; good writing skills are an advantage.
- Self-starting and able to take initiative and work autonomous
- Able to integrate into an international/multi-cultural environment and a real team player;
- Able to coach and share knowledge
- Have expertise in at least one of the following technical domains (but not limited) Java, Microsoft, blockchain, RPA
