Technical Analyst/Application Support (CMDB Virtual Cloud Migration)
One of our leading tech clients is urgently looking for a Technical Analyst/Application Support with excellent CMDB and Virtual Cloud experinece. You would have come from a Technical role in Supporting Applications or Development Projects specialising on enhancements of Applications with either Technical Project Management or Architect experience being desirable.
You will have experience with applications across multiple technologies such as .NET and/or Java, migrating to 'SDDC' (Software Defined Data Centre) and be responsible for designing the road map of current applications. Importantly you'll be able to Road Map the migration project and group together applications across the various stages including stability etc. You'llbe focused on a migration to a virtual cloud environment.
This project is about technical assessments of application data (ie, data that describes the application) starting with CMDB information gathering, information analysis, collect missing information, create 'as-is' configuration diagrams and 'to-be' configuration diagrams. Change review meetings will be organized and facilitated by the change coordinators and attended by Technical Application Owners and technical analysts to present change and release deployment proposals.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- System Configuration
- Full life cycle migration to virtual cloud
- Grouping of applications including road mapping various stages of migration.
- .Net or Java a plus!
- Prior Development or Project Management or Architect experience or similar technical environment.
CONTRACT: 12months +
