Technical Analyst

An established client in the Financial Services sector, based in Sheffield is currently looking to recruit a Technical Analyst for an initial 7 month contract. The main responsibilities of this role will be to develop and implement computer based hardware and software products in line with service agreements. You will ensure the correct processes and procedures are followed and quality is maintained to provide the best service possible, to internal and external customers. You will be required to communicate with various technical, business and project teams, to ensure problems and root causes are escalated and resolved in a timely manner. As well we having strong Oracle (DBA related), experience you will have a proven background with Linux, Windows, DataStage and SQL Server. Our client is looking for a candidate who has a genuine interest in problem solving and an eye for detail, to ensure the continual improvement of service delivery to customers. It is essential that you are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have the ability to deliver projects to a high standard, whilst working under pressure.
