Technical Advisor - Aberdeen - Downhole

An independently owned downhole service company in Aberdeen have tasked Progressive Global Energy with sourcing a suitable Technical Adviser to join them in their Aberdeen facilities on a permanent basis.

The company are a rapidly expanding one, who's HQ are in Houston, Texas. In the last 3 years they have grown 20-30% year on year and as a result are looking for a Technical Adviser to join the team to assist with the additional work.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Understand and therefore be able to technically support sales and operations departments.

* Provide technical problem solving support.

Perform technical presentations both internally and externally.

Work closely with global offices to ensure consistent technical support.

* Completing incident reports and client post job reports.

Required profile for candidates:

* Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.

* Previous experience in a similar role is a necessity.

* Understanding of downhole oilfield equipment is a necessity.

* Clear communicator with proven problem solving skills.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship (i.e. British Citizen or hold a valid Tier 1 UK visa)
