Techncial Software QA/Migration Analyst - W2 Hourly only

Technical Software QA Analyst - Local candidates preferred, must be able to work w-2 hourly only.

Duties include:

Tracking code deployed through a project life cycle to ensure the proper code base is being implemented in all environments, including production

Working with the development and testing teams to validate all change control procedures are in place and followed

Looking for opportunities to further automate and streamline migration processes

Develop quality control processes to verify migrations are successful and that code in multiple environments indeed match

Basic Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience

5 or more years of experience demonstrating competency in delivering efficient and effective solutions to diverse and moderately complex business requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Powerpoint

Ability to effectively prioritize activities and focus team efforts based-on priority

Ability to interact with and communicate status to various levels of management

Proven ability to work in a team environment to solve complex problems

Experience with change control and release management systems (Desired: Dimensions, Subversion)

Outstanding organizational skills

Experience with Quality Center testing application a plus

Previous experience in a release management is preferred,

Familiar with managing migration processes and familiar with change control
