TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience with technical project management
- Experience with traditional PM tools (project, xls, ppt, word) and techniques
- Robust communication tools

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Coordination and execution assistance for 3 large projects.
- Project 1 - Project manage the replacement of liquid handling robotics with alternate liquid handling platform. Develop schedule, coordinate gathering of software requirements, and run overall team consisting of engineering, manufacturing, and validation.
- Project 2 - Project manage a multi-million cost savings opportunity. A key manufacturing process can experience a significant reduction in raw materials and gain a multi-million cost savings opportunity. This raw material is used in a complex downstream process. Develop schedule, building of multiple lots, interacting across multiple segments of the company, and run overall team consisting of engineering, manufacturing, and validation.
- Project 3 - Project manage an internal capabilities transfer. There is a key raw material that is used in a complex downstream process. Develop schedule, building of multiple lots, interacting across multiple segments of the company, and run overall team consisting of engineering, manufacturing, and validation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with technical project management
- Experience with traditional PM tools (project, xls, ppt, word) and techniques
- Robust communication tools
- Ideally a technical engineering background
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Cultural fit with the company.

EDUCATION:

- Four (4) year bachelors in a science related field, ideally Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. Ideally this individual would have a PMP certification or 5+ years experience managing technical projects.
