For a project at a client in ZURICH, we are looking for a TECH. BUSINESS ANALYST FOR PSD as follows:

ROLE PURPOSE:

The role owner is responsible to work alongside his colleagues in the respective area of expertise in projects but also in BAU to a certain extent if needed.

- Business analysis, specification and implementation (parameterisation) in the following areas of the Core Banking Application (Avaloq)
- Payments, Money Transfer
- Standing Orders, Direct Debits
- Cards (Debit and Credit)
- Message interfaces to our 3rd party systems
- Work in projects, mainly for Open Banking (PSD2), supporting the PM/PL in managing the projects
- Incident management and 3rd level support
- Interface and 3rd party application maintenance
- Testing activities during release cycles
- Business & technical end user consulting

- Solve and prevent risk issues

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Requirements engineering and solution design in the subject matter area of Cards and/or Payments.
- Business analysis for change requests and incidents.
- Close collaboration with subject matter experts in the Cards/Payments business.
- Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality.
- Project Lead and/or work on projects and support of the entire life cycle, ensuring that our solutions are not only fulfilling business needs, but are also technically feasible and sustainable.
- Testing activities

SKILLS:

TECHNICAL:

- Project management.
- Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications.
- Development skills in at least one programming language
- PL/SQL skills, Oracle database know-how
- Avaloq certification - or several years of experience with Avaloq (more than 5 years)

SOFT:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Structured, analytical and proactive way of thinking
- Ability to work independently and innovatively but also act as a valuable team member

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in business analysis, consulting
- Experience in IT projects/IT project management
- Experience in Payments, Cards & Reconciliations
- Education in banking (preferred)
- 5+ years of Avaloq and/or Banking experience
- University degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering

OTHER:

- Strong analytical skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Computer applications skills (ie Microsoft Office and others)
- English written and spoken
- German spoken, written would be beneficial
