Tech lead Linux - Trading -Chicago For a leading financial institution I am currently searching for a Tech Lead UNIX engineering for a permanent position within a highly specialised and professional team. As a technical lead for the Linux team you work as the technical architect in a team that takes care of an ultra low latency UNIX infrastructure. You make sure that incidents are limited to the bare minimum and you take care of the optimization of the mission critical environment. Your main responsibilities will include: - design, troubleshooting, leading team for Linux infrastructure - Within the team, you will be the technical lead meaning you are responsible - you need to (re)-design, implement, troubleshoot and administer the Linux systems Your profile: - BSc in computing science or equivalent - minimum of 7 years working experience within a complex Linux environment (150 plus servers) - strong Python skills - excellent design, technical troubleshooting skills - experience with monitoring systems, such as Nagios is a plus - thorough networking skills; DHCP, routers, DNS - demonstrable experience in a lead role Offer: - Attractive salary and secondary benefits - Open and informal environment - Opportunityto grow on a personal and professional level - Working in an international team Do you think you have what it takes to take the plunge?
