Team Manager - First Response

Excellent opportunity to work within an ongoing contract as a Team Manager for a First Response team with Peterborough City Council.

You will joining a children's service whose vision is "helping children to be their best". They are committed to giving the best opportunities to children and young people in care, working in partnership with schools and others to make sure children succeed.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

To manage the overall decision making, planning and delivery of services to service users and their families.
To manage the service and a team of staff within the legislative and procedural framework of Peterborough City Council.
To manage the allocated budget of the service and team.
To manage the development of strategic policy and procedures within the Departmental Business planning
processes.
To manage Children's Social Care within a Performance Management Framework that supports the priorities of the Service, Department and Council.
