My client in Haarlem, The Netherlands is looking for a Data Center Operations Manager with e-Hosting experience.

TEAM MANAGER - DATA CENTER OPERATIONS

The Department:
As the NL Data Center Operation team they are responsible for around-the-clock assembly, delivery, maintenance and infrastructure for our clients Netherlands based Datacenters. In close collaboration with the Sales and Global Support teams they are focused on efficient and timely delivery to their internal and external customers.

As a Team manager you are responsible for the overall performance and results of the DC OPS team in order to assemble, deliver and maintain Datacenter infrastructure (hardware, software and connectivity) of internal and external customers. You will have a strong focus on ensuring order delivery resulting in customer satisfaction and a positive customer experience. In this role your will be responsible for a team of operational engineers working in shift hours. The work environment is dynamic and has an international character.

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION (40 HOURS PER WEEK) AND DOES NOT REQUIRE SHIFT AVAILABILITY.

YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
* Team management, development and coaching focused on performance improvement
* Ensure timely service delivery and continuous status reports internally and externally.
* Implement innovations and improvements
* Ensure sufficient staffing of Operations team (Planning, hiring)
* Facilitate efficient communication internally with various stakeholders (Sales, Logistics, Operations)

REQUIREMENTS:
* A degree at the senior secondary vocational education (HBO) level.
* At least 4 years' experience in a managerial/team lead position within a Datacenter environment.
* Hosting Services experience
* Knowledge of computer hardware (preferably server equipment) and Servers in a data center environment
* Network knowledge and various operating systems (Linux, Cisco, Windows)
* Proven planning and organizing capabilities with heavy focus on professionalism and quality
* In possession of a valid (category B) driver's license
* A good command of Dutch and English

DUTCH SPEAKING ASSIGNMENT. START: 1ST JULY. 6 MONTH CONTRACT. LOCATION: HAARLEM, THE NETHERLANDS.
