You will have accountability and responsibility for the operation and management of the designated team, you will be responsible for providing expert and professional advice.You wil ensure that the highest standards of technical expertise, professional advice and guidance are provided to the team, individuals and others. You will be a member of the Service Management Group and contribute to the development of the Service and Team Business Plan, to determine service objectives for the team and to prepare and implement the Business Plan for the team.You will have Comprehensive knowledge of children Act 1989, The Adoption and Children Act 2002 and other relevant legislation and the ability to apply to practice CQAW, DiP SW or equivalent. Five years' post-qualifying experience within a children and families social work setting. Two years' experience of staff supervision.
