Team Manager

Team Manager - 3-6 month contract OR fixed term pro-rata - Oxfordshire (salary negotiable)

This leading merchant business based in Oxfordshire is urgently seeking a Team Manager to lead a central division that will be responsible for maintaining all operational processes and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and motivating the Central team to deliver to agreed SLA's
Identifying and sharing best practice as well as areas for improvement
Ensuring verification of contractor work and authorising work activity
Reporting detail to credit control so that they can monitor exposure
Managing the allocation of funds and ensuring that payment invoices are fulfilled in a timely manner
Attending internal and external meetings as directed (this may require an overnight stay)

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Experience of building and managing teams is essential
Strong experience of running and improving business processes/projects
Self-disciplined with the ability to deliver to deadlines
An excellent communicator and relationship builder - able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
Computer Literate including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

This role has a degree of flexibility, and will be considered as either a 3-6 month contract, or as a fixed term pro-rata position.
