Team Leader Testing & Configuration Control

Our client is seeking a Team Leader - Testing & Configuration Control, to establish the configuration management environment, policy and procedure guidelines, reporting and audits and change and version control.

To be a successful candidate, you will also need to ensure the stability, availability and reliability of production platforms and applications through the planning and execution of functionally based user Testing.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Technically support the Testing officers to ensure that best practice testing outcomes are achieved
- Introduce and administer comprehensive configuration management and testing strategies
- Ensure that proposed changes are evaluated and assessed for risk, prior to approval and implementation
- Oversee all testing aspects of project implementation, including preparing testing plans, identifying and coordinating resources and negotiating report deliverables
- Produce high quality configuration management and testing documentation including reports and briefings for presentations and workshops

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Solid experience in managing changes and testing for critical services and infrastructure
- Experience in a configuration change management role with sound knowledge of the structure and operation of public and private organisations
- Understanding of computer systems and integration issues and impacts of software development across multiple functions of the organisation
- Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage projects/programs concurrently
- Ability to analyse large amounts of information and produce reports and presentations in a clear and concise manner
