Team Leader Financial Analysis, Billings Analyst, Fees

My client, a large asset management/hedge fund organisation is currently looking for people to join its team of analysts. The role is for a Team Leader Financial Analyst working within the Fee Billing Organisation of the Finance Division. It is a 6 month rolling contract based in London.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Overseeing the creation of custody fee invoices.
- Posting, management and oversight of related accounting entries
- Oversight of the offshore custody fee billing team
- Communicate with partners to resolve queries
- Update managers with regular status reports
- Assist Managers with senior level queries and activities (eg month end)
- Ensure team 's compliance to controls
- Review and enhance controls as required.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

- Strong experience of Fees; billing and/or accounting ( 5 years +)
- Strong experience in financial control/financial services industry ( 5 years +)
- Excellent Time Management/Ability to meet regular Deadlines
- Excellent communication, written and verbal eg experience of presentations +/or chairing senior level meetings, and an eye for detail.
- Ability to partner effectively with peers and overseas teams
- Strong financial analysis, investigative and reconciliation skills
- Advanced Excel eg lookups and pivots
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
