Job Title: Team Leader

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per Annum Depending upon Experience (OTE £25,000) + Company Car and Benefits

Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Full time)

Working within our client's UK wide branch network, you will be responsible for leading and developing a group of Self-Employed Agents within a specific geographical area. About 70% of your time will be out in the field working with your Agents and meeting your Customers in their homes.

As Team Leader you will be working at the heart of their business, supported with the latest technology including lap-top and mobile phone. Their first class Support Centre will assist and help you deliver your business results.

They are recruiting for this position on a contract basis; however there will be opportunities for impressive individuals to be made permanent.

Team Leader - The Role in brief:

- Build effective relationships with your Agents and Customers.
- Lead and develop your Agents within a specific geographical area to include conducting effective business reviews in order to support the agents in developing their business.
- Visiting customers in their homes to conduct audits, arrears visits and collecting when a vacant book arises.
- Support the Company developing quality new business by spotting referral opportunities and converting them into new customers.
- Identify shortfalls in performance against targets, providing feedback, support and agreeing action plans.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Promote excellent relationships with customers ensuring that agreed standards of service are maintained and problems are resolved.

Team Leader - Required Skills:

- Building rapport and developing solid professional relationships.
- The ability to plan, organise and monitor your effectiveness and the results of your team.
- Commercial awareness, including experience of developing referrals.
- Drive and ambition to successfully manage part of their business.
- Excellent customer service.
- The ability to quickly understand the challenges and opportunities within a business and demonstrate success in a targeted environment.
- Excellent IT literacy skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desired Experience:

This Team Leader role will be customer facing, therefore operational / field experience would be advantageous. If you have experience in a similar Consumer Credit business they would like to hear from you. Alternatively they will consider your application if you can demonstrate the competencies set out above, have solid customer service experience and can demonstrate the ability to manage and plan your own / others work.
