Team Lead/Cobol Development team wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 10+ years' working experience, preferably in an Agile environment
- Strong Cobol team leadership experience within financial services environment
- Deep Leadership skills
- Able to work with different teams in different times zones
- Recruitment management and mentoring skills to assist growth within the team
- Extensive experience in designing, coding, testing and installing application programs across multiple platforms
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Preparing and maintaining systems and program documentation
- Developing software components as defined by the systems development life cycle
- Testing unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Supporting Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Ensuring that produced code is secure, stable and operational
- Assisting in the analysis and design of applications programs and databases
