TEAM LEAD BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

You are a dynamic leader who is accountable for the design, development and support of BC Ferries Business Intelligence applications and integrations, ensuring appropriate user-level security of sensitive information.
As a positive leader, you promote a cohesive work environment that encourages cooperation and motivation amongst team members by actively listening to peers' input. You possess exceptional business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to encourage teams to drive for results, meeting goals and creating value for the organization by encouraging others' contributions.
You oversee the configuration, troubleshooting and support of all aspects of BI applications, and provide overall guidance concerning the application impacts. You provide expert knowledge of BI data models and tables, and oversee the configuration and support to ensure availability of all production and test environments.
You have a degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science or other IT related discipline. You have a minimum of 5 years' experience with Cognos or Oracle BI applications, including successful implementations and upgrades. You have experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting and end-user support for Cognos BI applications, in addition to a keen understanding of interfaces between Cognos and third party applications. Business Analysis experience is desirable.
