We are Real Life Options, a service provider delivering support for people with learning disabilities including Autism, challenging behaviour or complex health needs.  Our service supports individuals to live in their own homes or within small specialist homes.

We are now looking for 2 Team Co-ordinators, 1 in Montrose and 1 in Forfar to really make a difference to individual's lives. We need you to lead a team of staff to provide agreed levels of support in the day to day running of the service provision through the policies, training, supervision and guidance provided by Real Life Options.

The Ideal Candidate will:
&bull Be able to show a willingness, aptitude and enthusiasm for the role
&bull Be flexible, well organised and be able to deliver a person centred service
&bull Have similar experience as a Team Co-ordinator and be willing to work flexibily
&bull Have the ability to contribute to the effective leadership of a staff team
&bull Be pro-active,able to take responsibiliity and be self motivated while at times working under pressure within a range of situations
&bull Be able to communicate well in English both verbally and in writing
&bull Be willing to work flexibily, both on and off shift. For example,attend evening meeting when required

Skills and experience for this role:
&bull SVQ LEVEL 3 or above in Health and Social Care -ESSENTIAL
&bull A proven track record of working with people with learning disabilities
&bull Commitment to the principles of community care
&bull Supervisory or management experience within services for people with disabilities
&bull Understanding of development and general needs of adults with a learning disability, multiple disabilities and complex needs (social, personal,physical,occupational and leisure)
&bull An understanding of how to manage budgets
&bull Basic knowledge of I.T skills along with Admin skills
&bull Person centred planning
&bull Capacity to work with service users to develop a range of skills
&bull Skilled in working constructively with complex needs

The applicant MUST have a clear understanding and knowledge of the Health and Social Care Essential Standards and all post are subject to disclosure / P.V.G
