Teaching Assistants Needed in North East London

I am currently recruiting teaching assistants in North East London with experience working with children who have additional learning needs within mainstream teaching environments, both on a one-to-one basis and within small groups. To that end, you will ideally possess a teaching assistant qualification through the NVQ, CACHE or BTEC schemes. Alternatively, if you are educated to degree level we can get you working as a Cover Supervisor or teaching assistant provided you have six months recent child based work experience. We have a variety of supply and long term positions available at present, so if you are looking for part time work or on-going full time work. The pupils' needs may be related to their literacy and numeracy development or in enhancing their social skills and keeping them task orientated throughout lessons. You will appreciate that every class is different and each child has their own specific learning needs. You will therefore be dynamic and able to quickly adapt to a variety of scenarios. No two days are likely to be the same! You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable liaising with both teachers and students, with an ability to quickly form bonds with those you work with. You will be relied upon to execute all work to a high standard, ensuring that the individual child meets their required learning outcomes during lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
