Teaching Assistant - September

Teaching assistant required from September for long term contract at primary school in Newham, East London.

Ideally we are looking for a graduate but we will also be considering an experienced teaching assistant with at least 2 years' experience working with children in the 5-11 age range and a relevant qualification such as Level 2 Award/Certificate in supporting teaching.

The successful teaching assistant will have excellent reading, writing and numeracy skills, with a good educational background including at least a C in GCSE English and Maths.

As a teaching assistant at this outstanding primary school you must have very strong communication and interpersonal skills with both fellow teaching professionals and children alike. We are looking for an extremely organised individual with a passion for working with children and motivating them to learn.
