Taxonomy Specialist - Solution Integrator - 6 Month Contract

Our client is seeking a Taxonomy Specialist to join their Government department for a 6 Month Contract with a possible 6 month extension.

The main requirements, tasks and deliverables for this role include:

- Understanding of the SBR solution architecture and the ability to advise on changes and enhancements to the system. This includes the ability to model existing and future architecture and develop plans to transition to that future state.
- Knowledge of XBRL and the ability to use that technology to deliver SBR-compatible taxonomies.
- Ability to design message interactions and collaborations that adhere to the SBR architecture for both business-to-business and business-to-government interactions.
- Work with a wide range of government agencies, business representatives, software vendors and internal business areas to advise on the implementation of SBR as applies to them. In particular, leading those stakeholders through the process of understanding their required business interactions and designing message collaborations to reflect those requirements.
- Provide technical leadership to teams applying architecture to system design.
- To create, review and execute taxonomy architecture documentation.
- Use of various taxonomy tools especially XWand, XMLSpy and SpiderMonkey to review message and collaboration architecture.
- Create and maintain documentation for internal procedures to be followed in the Taxonomy Delivery Team.
- Reviewing and analysing business requirements and design documentation and producing gap analysis documents as required.
- If necessary undertake code and design reviews, to ensure coverage of all test scenarios.
- Liaison with other members of the team including developer and support staff.
- Undertake mentor duties within the Taxonomy Delivery Team, with software developers and report builders (in particular around Message design), including
- Skills transfer
- Documenting own work
- Presentations and/or sessions to staff, and
- On the job training for staff, including use of test tools and test procedure.
