Taxation Project Manager

TAXATION PROJECT MANAGER - OXFORDSHIRE - 6 MONTHS - £450

My client is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for ensuring systems are in place to capture taxation records and make sure they are complete and accurate. The successful candidate will be reporting initially to the head of accounting working alongside the Finance  Accountant, Financial Controllers, Human Resources and Managers throughout the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Monitoring and measuring the improvements via the implementation of solutions
- Liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders in providing solutions
- Define requirements for direct and  indirect taxation including CIS, Import duty and  VAT
- Review and report on Compliance with HMRC requirements and develop processes where improvements can be made.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

- Have Knowledge of PAYE and employee benefit including payroll workers and IR35 issues
- A strong background within a Taxation Project Manager role
- Preferably have experience in current UK taxation accounting
- Experience of working  for a multi site manufacturing or similar company
- Excellent presentation skills to demonstrate issues and solutions at both junior and senior management levels.
