A leading communications company is looking for a Tax Specialist to report to the Tax Director and provide quality tax advice to the business predominantly focusing on the UK and Ireland.

The Tax Specialist will be responsible for the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns and ensuring that VAT payments are paid and any refunds are monitored. The Tax specialist will also need to manage routine enquiries with tax authorities and provide support for tax audits.

As the Tax Specialist you will require extensive knowledge of domestic and international UK Corporate Tax legislation along with UK and EU VAT and employer Taxes Legislation and its application in a multinational environment. As the Tax Specialist you will require a good knowledge of tax accounting, reporting and disclosure principles under IFRS or UK GAAP.

The Tax specialist role also requires experience of using enterprise financial systems, preferably SAP along with being a qualified Tax Accountant or Accountant
