Tax Research Analyst - Fluent in Spanish

Our client urgently requires a Tax Research Analyst (fluent in Spanish) to undertake a 3-4 month contract in Central London. The main responsibilities for the successful candidate will be to analyse, research and document tax laws and regulations and their potential impact on products (eg tax returns, etc) and also to research and respond to client inquiries as directed by management.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key silks and experience;

- Experience with VAT/Indirect Tax/GRC compliance (ideally in Latin America - especially Argentina, Chile, Colombia or Mexico)
- Fluent Spanish speaker
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and to consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to research laws and regulations, including ability to utilize online research tools.
- Ability to research, interpret and perform in-depth analysis of financial data and apply tax law
