Manager Group Tax Reporting

My client, a leading global bank, is looking for an experienced tax reporting specialist.

The Role
*To lead the reporting of taxes across Europe
*Ensure the Bank is compliant with the International Accounting Standard for Tax (IAS12)
*Ensure appropriate and accurate tax disclosures are internally and externally made, notably in the UK.
*Support all sites in accounting for and reporting tax accurately both internally and externally and in accordance with the Group's tax reporting policies and processes.
*To ensure all tax reporting deliverables for the UK Group are accurately met.
*To identify and implement opportunities for improvements in the tax reporting processes.
*To carry out appropriate and effective deep dive reviews of the tax assets and liabilities maintained in key entities.
*To support the MI team with tax inputs into the forecast and PRA stress testing processes.
*To manage the relationship with external auditors.

Requirements

*Qualified tax professional (preferably Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Institute of Taxation or equivalent).
*Specialist knowledge and experience in IFRS tax reporting..
*Specialist experience in financial services preferred.
*Experience in managing process change.
