Tax Regulatory Assistant - Bournemouth - January Start

We are looking for a Tax Assistant to join out Tax Regulatory Reporting team at JPMorgan. This is an amazing opportunity to join the team who are responsible for complying with US IRS and European Tax Authority regulations on behalf of our clients.

You shall be joining the Financial Transaction Tax (FTT) team who are responsible for French regulatory reporting, which requires the capture and validation of clients declarations, including withholding and reporting on any covered Corporate Actions, and submission of the declarations to the French Tax Authorities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Investigating, validating and amending financial data against daily timeframes.
- Management graphs; macros; pivot tables. Microsoft Access & Word
- Relevant degree and/or previous Income and/or Tax Experience
- Track record of self management and achievement.
- Demonstrated experience of risk awareness
- Demonstrated experience of working with financial data accurately within given time frames.
- Proven experience of relationship management communicating complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of working in a team structure.
- Demonstrated flexibility within the work place.
- Proven experience of learning new techniques, processes and systems against deadlines

DESIRABLES:

- Corporate Actions (COACS), Tax, Income, Securities or Custody experience/knowledge.
- Experience dealing with high volume complex processing.
- IAQ or other industry related qualifications.
- PowerPoint

HOURS:

- Standard office hours though flexibility is required during busy periods

LOCATION:

- Chaseside Campus, Bournemouth

On offer is an initial 6 month role paying a competitive hourly rate.
