Tax Project Manager-Tax Accounting-Finance

My client is looking for a Tax Project Manager to come aboard their Group Tax Finance department.

Successful candidates will have significant project management experience and a background in Tax and finance accounting. Someone with an understanding of offshoring will also be looked at favourably.

Responsibility: Manage Projects initiated by Group Tax in London. Some projects are cross functional with interaction with HR, Accounting, lines of business, and external third parties

* Professional qualification and/or significant relevant experience (at least 5- 10 years)-essential.
*Finance and/or Tax experience - essential
*Outstanding and demonstrable Project Management experience - essential
*Understanding of Change Management theory, principles, and practicalities - essential
*Ability to explain difficult concepts to a broad cross section of staff - essential
*Ability to interface comfortably with colleagues at all levels within the Bank - essential
*Excellent communication and presentation skills - essential
*Excellent influencing and coaching skills - essential
*Strong working knowledge of MS Office -essential
*Ability to take full ownership for deliverables and to work on own initiative - a "can do" attitude - essential
*Project management qualification (PMP, Prince 2) - desirable
