For our client, a major Swiss Bank, we are looking for a "Tax Production Specialist" for 6 months project (extension possible) in Zurich, Switzerland.

TAX PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Overview of business area or project:

An interesting position as Production Support within our highly motivated, small team in Client Tax Reporting You are supporting Operations and IT teams in the production of client tax reports for various countries. You clarify questions, analyze issues, clean up and/or correct data, implement workarounds, etc.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

- General Banking Know-how and transaction banking processes
- Knowledge of financial instruments (Shares, Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF, ), Corporate Actions and Market Data
- Good SQL skills which go beyond simple Selects (Oracle DB)
- Flexibility to work odd hours if required (eg late evening, weekend)
- Positive can-do attitude, independent work style
- Good verbal communication skills in German and English

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience with XML (creation, interpretation, amendments) is an asset
- User experience of EasyTax product (from BearingPoint) is an advantage
- General know-how about tax reports/reporting is beneficial
