Tax Manager

Our Client, an international consultancy, is currently recruiting for a number of tax managers to join their growing team on a contract basis. These are immediate roles with the client looking to move quickly

Ideally candidates will be ATT, CTA or CA qualified (or equivalent), but we are also happy to consider candidates who are qualified by experience.  The roles involve working on a range of clients covering a number of sectors and ranging from mid-market to FTSE listed clients.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Mixture of compliance, advisory and tax audit work
- Ensure that client work is delivered effectively
- Develop and maintain good client relationships, identify leads for new work, liaise with other members of the client service team outside tax
- To identify work opportunities through an internal network of contacts
- To help develop more junior staff in the team
- Liaising with other colleagues in tax and elsewhere to provide a complete tax service to clients
- Working with senior team members on identifying and following through future work opportunities and cross-selling to other disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- CTA and/or ACA/CA or equivalent qualified
- A commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
- High level analytical skills
- History of developing strong client relationships Project co-ordination/management skills
- The flexibility to adapt to the ever changing demands brought about by tax, regulatory and business changes

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

- Strong UK Tax knowledge in any of the areas mentioned above and awareness of other tax and accounting areas
- Tax Accounting experience
