Tier One Investment Bank requires a VAT Focused Tax Consultant to join their team in Canary Wharf on a 6 month Contract. VAT, TAX

Tier One Investment Bank is looking to appoint an experience Tax Consultant with SME knowledge of VAT

Details of the Role
-An opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment in CFO area in London
-Provision of ad-hoc VAT advice to Investment Banking business and Private Banking & Wealth Management areas of the business
-Representation of VAT function in UK and international projects, eg Mergers and Acquisitions, group structure reorganizations
-Advise on indirect tax aspects of intra group agreements
-Contribution to the VAT compliance and reporting function
-Close collaboration with colleagues in the UK and international Tax Departments in regions EMEA/Switzerland/Americas/APAC

All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
-University degree in Business Administration/Law (or similar)
-Professional experience either gained in-house in the VAT department of an international Financial Services institution, or in a Big Four firm with focus on the financial services
-Demonstrable strong UK VAT expertise reflected in relevant professional qualifications
-An open, communicative personality with very good language skills in English
-Forward looking and business oriented, able to operate effectively and to prioritize competing demands
