TAX COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a TAX COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST TO WORK IN A NEWLY BUILT GLOBAL CLIENT TAX COMPLIANCE TEAM. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. ROLE:
- Advise on and implement a comprehensive Global Client Tax Policy
- Responsibility to introduce and provide training on this new Policy
- Advise your stakeholder on complex client tax compliance issues
- Design appropriate tax compliance management information
- Supporting client tax policy by developing a tax risk assessment and surveillance methodology
- Close collaboration within Compliance and with various stakeholders within the bank
- Interesting networking and development opportunities
SKILLS:
- An above average university degree, preferably in Law or Tax
- Profound professional experience as a lawyer, tax advisor or compliance officer, preferably in the financial services industry
- Experience with tax compliance related topics in the banking context are a distinct advantage
- Strong analytical, project management and conceptual skills
- Effective team-player with very good networking skills and a high level of self-motivation
- Proactive and flexible personality with a solution-oriented approach
- Hands-on attitude with strong ability to cope with pressure
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities as well as the ability to closely interact professionally with senior stakeholder
- Sound knowledge of MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and German
