Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a TANK MANAGEMENT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join our client, the world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Hillsboro, OR.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position, located at the Client's Hillsboro, Oregon facility, is responsible for the processing, cleaning, inspection, repair/remediation, and maintenance of portable product vessels within the Hillsboro Technical Operations facility as well as support for the maintenance, operation and repair of all systems, subsystems, and equipment within Tank Management at the Hillsboro facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure all portable product vessels and tank management equipment are maintained at the appropriate interval and is completed by the assigned due date.
- Ensure all portable product vessels and equipment remains in its designed and/or validated state at all times.
- Ensure that all portable product vessels and equipment are maintained and operated in accordance with Federal, State, Local and company regulations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide support for the validation and re-validation of Tank Management equipment and processes.
- Provide support to plant maintenance as needed.
- Identify training deficiencies and provide recommendations for training. Where applicable, provide needed training.
- Continuously evaluate all associated Standard Operating Procedures, engineering drawings, and various other controlled documentation for accuracy and applicability.
- Evaluate maintenance practices to eliminate nonproductive activities and implement productivity enhancements.
- Perform Confined Space Entry on an as needed basis.
- Complete preventive maintenance and assigned paperwork in a safe and timely manner following all cGMP documentation guidelines.
- Coordinate contractors who perform repairs, modifications, and installation of various types of equipment.
- Conduct work in an FDA regulated environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree, certificate, or coursework a plus.
- Five (5) years minimum experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance/operation environment.
- The successful candidate must possess a thorough working knowledge of cGMPs and be able work effectively in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and mature work ethic are absolutely essential.
- This candidate must have the ability to work safely in an environment containing hazardous chemicals, high and low temperature liquids, high pressure liquids and gasses, steam, and moving machinery.
- Candidate must have overall knowledge of remediation and metal finishing techniques, specifically those associated with Stainless Steel and Hastelloy.
- Thorough working knowledge of crane and hoist operation and safety along with thorough working knowledge of rigging and lifting techniques and safety.
- The successful candidate must have the ability to perform maintenance and equipment servicing according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Must possess knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance philosophy and techniques.
