Tank Management Maintenance Mechanic

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a TANK MANAGEMENT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join our client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Hillsboro, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure all portable product vessels and tank management equipment are maintained at the appropriate interval and is completed by the assigned due date
- Ensure that all portable product vessels and equipment remains in its designed and/or validated state at all times
- Ensure that all portable product vessels and equipment are maintained and operated in accordance with appropriate regulations.
- Provide support for the validation and re-validation of Tank Management equipment and processes.
- Identify training deficiencies and provide recommendations for training.
- Evaluate all associated Standard Operating Procedures, engineering drawings, and various other controlled documentation for accuracy and applicability.
- Evaluate maintenance practices to eliminate non productive activities and implement productivity enhancements.
- Coordinate contractors who perform repairs, modifications, and installation of various equipment.

Job Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent OR Technical degree, certificate, or coursework is a plus.
- Five (5) years minimum experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance/operation environment.
- Knowledge of cGMPs and be able work effectively in a highly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of remediation and metal finishing techniques, specifically those associated with Stainless Steel and Hastelloy.
- Thorough working knowledge of crane and hoist operation and safety along with thorough working knowledge of rigging and lifting techniques and safety.
