Talent Functional Lead

A Leading Financial service are looking to hire a Talent Functional Lead on an initial 6 week contract which will then role into 6 months.

* Ability to take a lead role, not directly managing but working with a small remote team and taking a lead role within this
* MUST have in depth experience within succession planning
* There is also a technology implantation project going on - whilst this is not essential, if the candidates have experience of this within a previous role then this would be an advantage.

Principal Accountabilities:
* Act as the functional and business analyst lead for the implementation of a new talent management
technology which will enable succession planning, talent review, and career development
* Be the talent management business process expert, providing advice and guidance where appropriate
* Develop the end-to-end business processes and to ensure they are sound and fit for purpose
* Lead two offshore business analysts which will support the project
* Assist in the design and configuration of the technology tool (in conjunction with the application Subject
Matter Experts)
* Develop and execute test scripts
* Develop and deliver training

Core Competencies Required:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of end to end implementations of Talent Management
technology and be able to demonstrate the following sills and attributes:
* Would suit a seasoned HR professional with extensive talent process experience (especially succession
planning, talent review, and career development)
* Extensive HR project experience, especially in talent technology implementation and/or talent business
process change initiatives
* Likely to have HR credentials (SHRM, HRCI, CIPD or equivalent)
* Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship skills
* Exceptional communication skills
* Strong PeopleSoft experience
* Workday a plus
* PeopleFluent a plus
* Strong organisation skills
* Strong time management skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Customer service focus with a consultative style
* Analytical thinking, sound judgement, and business awareness
* Ability to work both independently and as a member of a project team
* Enthusiastic, positive and flexible attitude
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
