Talent and Development Partner

Our exclusive Retail client has a fantastic opportunity for a Talent and Development Partner based in Paddington, London to manage the effective identification, design, delivery and measurement of employee development solutions to maximise personal growth for employees as well as supporting and enabling line management to maximise employee performance, driving the delivery of business objectives.

Key Skills Required:

- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the design, delivery and evaluation of a broad range of best practice talent and development initiatives, to actively support and drive delivery of business objectives
- Proven strong communication and influencing skills, confident and capable of working with all levels of management to gain buy-in, commitment and support for talent and development initiatives
- Highly skilled in training design and delivery, covering technical, communication and interpersonal skills, personal effectiveness and team development
- Experience in effectively coaching and mentoring at junior and middle management levels
- Proven ability to understand and interpret business information and data, analysing trends and patterns to effectively identify opportunities, determining talent and development priorities based on business need and benefits
- Skilled in proactively identifying and recommending talent and development 'opportunities and interventions' to address business 'issues' and drive performance
- Skilled in creating a balance of reacting to tactical business needs and proactively identifying opportunities to drive operational performance and satisfy business strategy
- Professional credibility, based on extensive experience within a talent and development function
- Knowledge and understanding of broader Talent & Development initiatives including Performance, Career & Talent Management
- Engaging, confident and flexible in approach, with a passion for people development
- Proven knowledge and experience of working within complex, large scale, fast moving corporate environments (Marketing, Technical, Finance, People, etc)
